The regulation field is one hundred yards long with a ten-yard end zone on each end. The width of the field is fifty-three and one-third yards. This is divided into thirds by hash marks that run the length of the playing field. The goal posts are twenty-three feet and four inches across. The cross bar is ten feet high with the goal posts being at least twenty feet high.
