Selecting a mate due to characteristics they possess which might be an advantage in human reproductive behaviour.

Sexual reproduction where gametes of the two sexes are different.

Why are females more choosy when selecting a sexual partner and what are they looking for?
A
Females are more choosy because eggs are rare. Women only produce one per month which requires lots of energy, investment and time.
They want a mate who is genetically fit, strong and healthy as these are traits they wish to pass down to their offspring.
They also want someone who is financially stable so they can look after her and the children.
