1
Q

Q

What are extraneous variables ?

A

If there is not enough control, extraneous variables occur. These are variables that aren’t the IV but can affect the DV if not controlled for.

Q

What can extraneous variables lead to ?

A

Q

What is the split-half method ?

A

Two halves of the questionnaire are similar so can assume it is reliable. Mainly used in self-reports. E.g. repeated questions but asked slightly different to check reliability of the answers given.
