-people confused on what to believe as now no doctrine, feared doing something wrong

A

-treason act= heresy to go against beliefs of the king
-banning/ removing treason act from law lead to more extreme P as people could now freely speak
-encouraged radical attacks on C as P destroyed C altars and images
-gov could no longer stop religious outbursts as ppl could now speak freely
-intros preaching act aug 1548- try stop / control radical speakings
