What was the Renaissance
The Renaissance was a period of rebirth in Europe which was between the 14th and 17th centuries
What was humanism
HUMANISM is the idea that human beings should be at the centre of everything and we should think about the world in terms of the lives people live.
Why did the Renaissance begin in Italy
City states: The independent city-states of Italy, each with its own government, fostered competition and innovation, leading to new ideas and artistic styles.
