Salute the OOD and request “Permission to go ashore.”
What should you do when going to the brow of a naval ship during daylight hours?
Turn aft and salute the National Ensign.
What is the procedure for boarding and departing a naval ship between sunset and 0800?
Follow the same procedures but do not turn aft and do not salute the National Ensign.
