Q

What is oxygen debt?

A
  • Caused by anaerobic respiration
  • To repay this, lactic acid must be transported to th liver where it is broken down into CO2 and H2O by oxygen
  • This is why after excercise, frequent and deep breaths take place to remove the oxygen dept
