Q

What is the 4 step of the breathing cycle?

A

1- 1st breath in (inhalation) = when they breathe in it goes straight to the back end (posterior). It’s stored here until they need to exhale
2- When they exhale the air foes into the lungs and stays there until they take their second breathe
3- this is the 2nd inhalation. However the air in the lungs now goes into the anterior air sacs.
4- the 2nd exhalation is the last step in the process this is where the air from the anterior air sacs go from them up and out of the mouth.
