Q

Where in the uk are the biggest waves

A

The biggest waves are found in the SW because is has a long fetch and the wind has traveled over a longer distance so it can pick up more energy to produce bigger waves

Q

Rotational slumping

A

Rotational slumping breaks down a cliff by water accumulating at the boundary between sand and clay. Clay, being impermeable, prevents water going through it and sand, being permeable, allows water to go through it until it becomes saturated. Once the sand is saturated it topples over the clay into the water making the cliff smaller.
