what is RIDDOR?
A
to keep employer and employees safe in a working environment, it holds employees responsible.

- incidents that cause harm ( fire )
- work related accidents that cause serious injuries
- deaths

- to prevent injuries
- reduces the likelihood of it happening again

aims to detect possible outbreaks of disease as rapidly as possible

STATUTORY DUTY of the employer to notify PHE about serious diseases illnesses such as food poisoning, measles
