What should a person involved in an RTC do?

A

The driver MUST report the collision at a police station OR
To a constable AND
MUST DO SO as soon as reasonably practicable AND in any case WITHIN 24 HOURS of the accident unless -

Their name and address are supplied to any person having reasonable grounds for so requiring it, AND in addition for injury RTCs a certificate of insurance is produced to a constable or to any other person having reasonable grounds for so requiring it.
