- Crumple zone refers to the front dashboard

Extrication Tips
A
- Fire - kit dump, debris dump
- Take lifepak and primary to pt
- Get extrication board early
- Check seat mechanisms if recline, move forward ect
- Remove head rests
- Extrication time - monitoring/O2 off
- Speak loudly
- Have a plan A and plan B
- ‘Is anyone NOT ready’ and ‘ready brace move’

Potential Hazards
A
- Glass and glass fumes
- Airbag system may not have deployed yet
- Foam in roof can be toxic
- Trip hazards
- Electric car - don’t know how to deal with fire and can reignite
