- Comes on flashing when there is an over-temp in the engine tail pipe picked up by any of the three sensors.
- M/W can be cancelled and the CWP will go steady but light will not go out until temp has come down.

When does the AUTO TRIM warning CWP illuminate?
A
- Comes on if the AUTOPILOT should detect a failure in the Auto Pilot / Auto Trim or YD auto trim system.

When does the CONFIG warning CWP come on? T/O & Landing?
A
- Comes on when applying take off power (above 64 degrees PLA) on the ground for the following;
1. Pitch trim tabs out of green range for T/O.
2. CL not at MAX position.
3. Flaps not set for T/O. - Comes on when the aircraft is not in the landing configuration (gear down below 500 ft RADALT, less than 64 deg PLA) and also when selecting 20 degrees or more flap without gear down and locked, horn cannot be silenced for this configurtion.

A
- Comes on when the parking brake handle is pulled and brake pressure exceeds 1700 PSI and goes off when the brake handle is pushed down an pressure decreases to 900 PSI.

A
- Comes on to indicate low hydraulic pressure in any of the Hydrualic Accumulators or,
- High Fluid tempreature in the MAIN Accumulator.
- Low pressure warning at 1800 PSI, High temp on at 116 deg and goes out at 83 deg.

- Comes on when the Emergency Lights Switch is in the OFF position.

1. A stall computer failure.
2. A differenece of 2 degrees angle or more between the dual AOA signals.

* Comes on when the electric rudder gust lock has remained engaged after the gust lock handle has been disengaged.

* Comes on under the following conditions;
1. Pusher monitoring circuit detects a short and/or open circuit within the pusher servo.
2. If only one stall computer initiates PUSH with a descrepancy of >6.5 degrees AOA to the other stall computer.
3. When PUSH 1 and/or 2 signals are initated.

* Comes on when the pressure in the extinguisher bottle in the cargo compartment goes below the minimum (approx 260-310 psi) after about 15 minutes of the total 30 minute life of the bottle.

* The explosive cartridge is fired and the agent is discharged into the cargo compartment.

* NORM is used for defogging - must be on for 7 minutes before HIGH is selected.
* HIGH used for de-icing and if selected on the ground with the WOW switchs activated HIGH wont be active until gear is up and locked.
Aircraft with OFF & ON
* ON is used for both defogging and de-icing.
* Power in ON position is applied gradually by the controller to reduce thermal stress.
For both types OFF position also resets the controller if tripped.

* applies regulated power to the front windshield when set to ON.

* Also illuminates the BLUE **L/R PROP DE-ICE** light on the status light panel.

* Comes on when the L/R PROP SWITCH is on and the system is working.
* Will go out if there is a system failure.

* Comes on for a failure in teh engine duct electrical anti-ice mat.

* This fail light comes on under the following conditions;
1. If the Electric Solenoid Valve does not open when respective ENGINE anti-ice switch is turned ON.
2. If the Electric Solenoid Valve does not close when the respective ENGINE anti-ice switch is turned OFF.
* The system supplies bleed air from the bleed air system to the splitter lip and inlet guide veins for ice protection.

* Controls the electrical and bleed air sections of the engine anti-ice system and illuminates the ENG ANTI-ICE light on the flight status panel on the centre instrument panel.

* Comes on whenever the engine anti-ice switch is ON.

* Comes on when the AC Gen is not supplying power.
1. If a **L/R INTAKE** light also comes on at the same time, the failure has occurred between the generator and the intake heating mats.
2. If it occurs before the GCU sensors but after the heating mats, only the AC gen light will come on and load XFR will occur.
3. If the failure occurs after the GCU pickup, the only light to come on will be the systems light (pitot, AOA sensor etc.) and load XFR has to be manual.

On the overhead Ice Protection panel under the AC Heat heading, what does the **L/R AC GEN** switch do in all positions?
1. ON energizes the AC generator relay and thereby connects the AC generator to the generator bus.
2. LOAD XFR de-energises the AC generator relay and desconnects the AC generator from the generator bus. This then transfers the load to the other side for power.
3. OFF/R The AC generator relay is de-energised and the generator is switched off. Also resets the generator control whenever the fault protection has disconnected the generator.

* The Stab, W INBD and W OUTBD lights illuminate whenever the respective boot system is pressurised and the BOOT IND switch is ON.
* The MAN buttons are manual de-ice buttons which override the time function and keeps the respective de-ice boot open as long as the button is pressed.

* Will come on together with the associated master caution whenever either of the two over heat sensors detects an over temprature of 150 deg.

* Comes on if;
1. No pressure sensed downstream of the valve sequenced for opening within 4 seconds.
2. The activated timer gives no inflation signal,
3. the boots are not cycling,
4. control power to the time is lost (the light will go out momentarily while the W OUTB button is depressed),
5. pressure remains on in the stabilizer boot zone when the next boot cycle is activated (auto cycling switch in one cycle) and
6. pressure remain on in the left and right INBD and left and right OUTB wing boot zone after more than 8 seconds.

* Air supply switch;
1. ON: Shutoff Valves (in distribution Valve) open this is the guarded position of the switch.

* Boot IND switch;
1. When OFF the boot indication light system is deactivated.

* Activates timer to give a 4 - times 6 sec cycle of boot inflation in the following order; Stab, OUTB, INBD, STAB.
1. CONT position completes one cycle every third minute.
2. ONE CYCLE position is spring loaded to the OFF position and will comeplete one cycle.
3. OFF turns the system off.

* DRIVE XFR:
1. Used if video signals from own side DPU faisl (indicated by EADI & EHSI going blank). Once selected Video signals are provided from the MFD and EADI pictures on both MFD and EHSI will be the same.
2. DRIVE XFR light on associated pilots side on the right hand side of the EADI on the instrument panel will come on when this position selected.
3. DCP functions as normal.
* NORM:
1. Normal Operations, no issues.
* XSIDE DATA:
1. Used if Attitude and/or heading data fails.
2. Data is used from opposite side and then displayed on current side.
3. Both EADI, EHSI, and MFD will be supplied with the same attitude and heading information.
4. Switched side will dsiplay XATT and XHDG in yellow on the EADI/EHSI
5. DCP funtions as normal.

* When switch is moved from OFF position after the engine fire handle has been pulled for the associated side, the main extinguishing bottle is discharged to that engine.
* When the opposite side switch is moved from OFF position the bottle on the opposite side to the fire will dischaege into the engine with the fire via a crossover line.

* OVRD:
1. Batter thermal switch (above 71 deg) overridded and battery is connected after a battery overheat and subsequent relay opening. This is independent of EXT PWR switch position (for emergency use only) can be used to charge lead acid batteries.

* The bus tie switch controls the BUS TIE relay for the connection of the L and R GEN BUS.
* CONN position:
1. The bus tie relay is enrgised with power from the emergency bus and the generator buses are connected.
* AUTO position:
1. The BUS TIE relay is energised and the generator buses are connected with abtteries ON and one or both generators not working. With generators working, the generator buses are not connected.
* SPLIT position:
1. The BUS TIE is de-energised and the buses are not connected.

On the overhead panel in Row 3 under the DC ELEC panel, What does the **L/R GEN SWITCHES** do in the 3 positions, OFF, ON, RESET?
* The GEN switch control the respective generator relay connecting the generator to the respective generator bus.
* OFF:
1. The generator is disconnected from its BUS.
* ON:
1. The generator control unit allows the generator relay to close provided that the engine is running and the generator provides sifficient electrical power and that no failures are detected.
* RESET:
1. The GENERATOR FIELD RELAY and the generator relay are closed again through tyhe generator control unit after ahving been switched off or tripped.
NOTE Pulling the fire handle will trip the field relay.

On the overhead panel in Row 4 under the AIR COND heading, what does the **L/R DUCT OV TEMP** light mean when it comes on? What will close automatically and what duct ov temp light is for which part of the cabin?
* Comes on with associated Master Caution for the following;
1. ACP Compressor discharge over-temp of 225 deg.
2. Distrubution duct over temp of 82 deg.
The corresponding BLEED VALVE will close automatically.
* L DUCT OV TEMP light is for the cabin and R DUCT OV TEMP light is for the flight deck.

On the overhead panel in Row 4 under the AIR COND heading, what does the **L/R RECIRC** light mean when it comes on? Will the AIRCOND MASTER CAUTION come on with this light? How long can you run the recircs on the ground for?
* Comes on when the recirculation fan is failing. (fan speed goes below 80% of normal speed).
* No the AIRCOND MASTER CAUTION WILL NOT come on.
* Cant run for longer than 10 min on the ground without adequete airflow under the floor and around the recirculation fan as it will over-temp.

* Comes on with the Master Cuation when a hot air leak is detected by a detection loop running next to the bleed air lines. If the temp in the loop is above 205 deg the light will come on with the Master Caution.
