What is the Sanctity of life
The sanctity of life is the idea that life is very special or sacred meaning life is very important to be protected. God gave us life, and he can take it away.
Many religions believe that life is sacred in many different ways/forms
What are Christians perspective on the sanctity of life
-We are created for many reasons. Christians believe that we are created in the light of God, which leads to the idea that human life has dignity and should be treated with respect.
What is an example of Christians and the Sanctity of life
This encourages christians to do acts of charity and means they might disagree with things that end human life such as abortion.
What are Hindus/Shiks perspectives on the sanctity of life
Every form of life contains the essence of God so we are able to see God everywhere and should treat everything with that in mind.
What is an example of Hindus/Shiks and the sanctity of life
Ahimsa - non-violence - teaches that it is wrong not only to kill living beings, but also to kill embryos. Hindus believe that all life is sacred, to be loved and revered, and therefore practice ahimsa or non-violence
