Q

What are the advantages of modelling in normalized PC (PC_IFT1)?

A
  • Independent of lab method/fluid (of measuring Pc_lab)

Q

What are the buildup steps of a saturation model?

A

1) Select base function (Lambda, Brooks-Corey or Thomeer)
2) Convert PC_lab to PC_IFT1
3) Fit the capcurve
4) Get 3 fitting parameters and plot each against perm, por and sqrt(perm/por)
5) Substitute trends back into the base function
