Good Samaritan - Love

- example of Agape

A
  • showing love to a neighbour is the second most important commandment
  • Jesus explained who our neighbour is in the Parable of the Good Samaritan
  • the Samaritan helped a Jew who had been beaten and left for dead. He took him in to an inn and paid for his care
Jews and Samaritans were enemies so Jesus teaches that love must be shown to anyone in need
