Heavy Object - Secure or Jettison (Right Pilot)
Approach
• High Wind, Heavy Seas - Into The Wind
• Light Wind, Heavy Swells - Parallel to Swells
Wing Flaps - 20 to 30 Degrees
Power - Establish 300 ft./min
Door - Unlatch
Touch Down - Level Attitude with Minimum Rate of Descent
Impact - Cushion Face with Folded Coat
Evacuate - Through Cabin Door
Life Vest and Raft - Inflate

Fire Extinguisher - Activate

Radio Switch - Off
Avionic Power Switch - On
Radio/Electronic Switch - On one at a time, until short circuit is localized
Vent/Cabin Air/Heat - Open when fire completely extinguished

  3. Check headset
  4. Try other radio
  5. Try air band
  6. Try cell phone
  7. Set Squawk 7600
  8. Report destination 50 NM Radius
  9. Observe traffic pattern
  10. Join downwind
  11. Altitude 800 ft. AGL

  13. Join downwind again
  14. Wait for the light signal
    - Steady Green = Clear to land
    - Flashing Green = Return to land
