What is the vision test?
Ensure that vision is well. If you are wearing contacts then it will be written as corrective or contact lenses.
What is the knowledge test?
A test that is multiple choice and should be passed. You have 3 tries before you must re apply. Minors have to wait 7 days to reapply.
What is the behind the wheel test?
A test that ensures you can safely drive and operate a vehicle where instructor can give multiple instructions.
What do you bring for your behind the wheel test?
Instrutor permit/driver’s license, another California licensed driver, vehicle that is safe to drive, or rental vehicle with your name in the contract.
What must minors do if they fail their behind the wheel test?
Wait 14 days
What do examiners check before driving?
driver window, windshield, rear-view mirrors, brake lights, tires, foot brakes, horn, parking brake, turn/arm signals, windshield wipers, and seatbelts.
