A
Policy board (policy design oriented) 
- establish and implement 

Policy governance board (results oriented)
- determine outcomes to be achieved how they are reached

Working or administrative board (operations oriented)
- some responsibilities for the operations such as planning finances human resources

Collective board (Goal oriented)

  • a group of like minded people working toward a specific goal
  • define and support the basic philosophy same responsibility as working board
