  • Pre shared key is an encryption key provides control access to a user that wants to connect their device to a network by entering this key.
  • This can still provide access to a network after an employee has left and changing the preshared key will require reconfiguration of all devices.
  • Passwords at hotels to connect to their WIFI and new people connecting to your home network.
