What is nominal data?

A simple frequency headcount of the number of participants who do one thing as opposed to another (e.g. pass or fail)

What is ordinal data?

Answer 2

Data can be put into ranked order (e.g scales from 1-10)

Question 3

What is interval data?

Answer 3

Intervals on a scale using participants actual scores are equal (e.g. how long it takes participants to eat an apple in mins and secs can be ordered on a scale and can see how much faster one person is than another)
