A
Sodium-Glucose CoTransport Inhibitor. 3rd line therapy after GLP1RA. Inhibits NA/Glucose transport in renal tubules. Decreasing the reabsorption of Glucose into plasma and increasing amount found in urine.

Canagliflozin. 100mcg po qd. Prior to 1st meal of the day. May increase to 300mcg po qd if needed. InvokanaMet is combo with metformin.

Dapagliflozin. 5mg po QD may increase up to 10mg po QD. Xigduo XR is Metformin combo.
