clavicle fracture
Direct blow to the Shoulder clavicle
Humeral Fracture
the force that breaks the humerus can be bending, compressing, or twisting. A combination of these forces is the most common.
Scapular Fracture
by high-energy trauma, such as a high-speed motor vehicle collision
AC Sprain
A hard, direct hit to the shoulder
Shoulder Subluxation
abduction and external rotation
Shoulder Dislocation
a blow to an abducted, externally rotated and extended extremity
Subacromial Bursa Injury
Repetitive Motion: Frequent and repetitive overhead activities, often seen in athlete
Rotator Cuff Strain
Repeating the same shoulder motions again and again can stress your rotator cuff muscles and tendons
Bicep Strain and rupture
moving or twisting your elbow in an unfamiliar way
Stinger
the head is forcefully pushed sideways and down.
Impingement
any repetitive motion that requires you to twist and turn your shoulders with your arms raised.
