Unless otherwise informed act under authority displayed at last signal.

Stop if safe to do so and contact signaller.

Assume it is occupied.

Must get authority from shunter as well as GPL.
Held at red signal what actions to take according to rule book and appendix to rule book.?
ARB contact signaller as soon as possible unless you can see an obvious reason for the signal being red. RB The same but wait no longer than 2 mins.

When held at a red how can you remind the signaller of your prescence?
SG button. Radio. SPT. Horn. Walk to see him.
When calling from an SPT not associated with the signal train is stopped at what must be said to signaller?
Make sure he is the right signaller for trains location. Tell him which signal you are at and which signal the train is at.
When waiting at a signal how often should you contact the signaller?
Every 5 minutes

Lineside telephone. Radio. SG button. Walk to signal box. Horn. Send shunter.
