How did their year contain?
A
It had 360days, divided into 12 30 day months. It didn’t keep pace with the movement of the earth, so they added an extra month sometime.

How did they divide the day and measuring the periods how?
A
They divided each day into six parts, starting either sunset or midnight. Periods with a sun-clock by day and water-clock by night

Why were they interested in the heavens?
A
They believed the stars were gods. They believed they watched the pathway of the sun and plants thru the sky, the so called zodiac, and divided it into 12 parts. Each part a constellation and the names live on today.
