Post-operative care:

1. Antibiotic cream bd for 5/7
2. Apply ice/cold towel immediately after procedure for 5 - 10min
3. Anti-inflammatory tablets prn (2 - 3/7)
4. Head elevated for 3/7 and sleeping face up x 5/7
5. Wash and dry face gently without rubbing x 5/7
6. Make up, shave, wash hair gently x 5/7
7. Avoid direct sunlight / sunbed x 2/52
8. Avoid facial massages/aesthetic treatments x 3/52
9. Avoid sports x 3/52
10. No saunas x 3/52

1. Interview with patient with informed consent.
2. Prepare the room and material
3. Determine zones and vectors - draw with ruler
4. Lay down patient and cover with sterile field
5. Remove material from pouches
6. Administer local anaesthesia at entry and exit points
7. Create entry hole with 18G needle
8. Insert suture needle vertically through the entry point to depth of 5 mm until the black line disappears
9. Manipulate the adipose tissue with fingertips by exercising a soft pressure.
10. Trim the free ends of the thread
11. Clean the treated area, apply antiseptic ointment
12. Provide post treatment recommendations
