Q

Describe what healthy skin looks and feels like.

A

If you look at healthy skin up close, the surface appears to be “regularly irregular.” This means that the skin is not 100% smooth like glass, but has tiny peaks around the hair follicles and pores and tiny valleys nineteen the peaks which are consistent thought the skin, giving it a uniform texture and appearance.

  • It should be an even, consistent colour.
  • It should be hydrated.
  • it should feel like it isn’t there, healthy skin doesn’t feel any unusual or uncomfortable sensations.
