- Light below 500nm wave length over the inhibition of the SCN decreasing the release of MEL by the EPT
- Entertainment and 3. Internal mental processes, over the release of SE, NE, and/or Ox
- Synchronisation, over the release of MEL at an accustomed time

In which sleep phase does memory consolidation occur? How many of these phases would a person experience, in average, over one sleep cycle of approximately 8 hours?
A
REM, due to the action of NE and SE. The REM phase lasts about 5 to 15 min (due to energy consumption), and it happens in average 5 times per cycle.
