Q

How does smell and taste work together

A

After the odour interacts with our sense receptors in the nasal cavity the information enters our brain reaching olfactory cortex and part is the limbic system the amygdala

Taste substance molecules dissolve in saliva

Most receptors are on the tongue but other parts the mouth of have them too
