What does the social area study
A
How people interact with one another, and explains to attempt the thoughts, feelings and behaviours of individuals that are influenced by other people

What is the strengths of the social area?
A
Has real world relevance as it tells us about how people will behave in the real world and we can use it to explain the situation such as when people don’t stop to help others in the street. It also has practical applications as research can be used to prevent unwanted obedience

What are the weaknesses of the social area?
A
It lacks generalisability, but everyone behaves in the same way. It has also been seen is highly unethical and deterministic as it suggests that social factors are the biggest influence on behaviour.
