Government
the body with the power to make decisions for society
Executive Branch

someone who lives in a riding/electoral district and is represented by an elected official from that riding

the total votes cast in an election different from the total ridings won
Accountable
answerable to someone for your actions
Civil Service
the people who serve Canadians as employees of the government
Bias
an opinion based on unchallenged assumptions
Senate
the upper house of Canadian parliament, provides a sober second thought
Bill
a proposed law
