Social justice
Ensuring that society treats people fairly in terms of wealth, opportunities and privileges regardless of any aspect of their identity.
Human Rights
The basic rights and freedoms to which all human beings should be entitled
UDHR
Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948) which is extended to all people in countries which have signed up to the agreement (currently 192).
Prejudice
A preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience (i.e. to pre-judge)
Discrimination
The unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex
Injustice
Violation of a right or of the rights of another – unfairness / inequality
Poverty
Poverty is a state or condition when people lack the financial resources and essentials required within a society. Poverty is relative to your geographical location
