Great Compromise- Roger Sherman proposed a two-house legislature with an equal number of representatives in the Senate and representation based on population in the House.
Three-fifths Compromise- Every five enslaved people would count as three free people.
Electoral College-number of electoral votes was based on the number of Congressional representatives.

If you were a delegate at the Constitutional Convention, why would you vote to ratify the Constitution
? Cite text evidence to support your choice.

A

I would vote to ratify the Constitution because:
1.there is no central government. 2.They were in debt, due to not collecting taxes. 3.They couldn’t pay lawmakers or people who served in the Revolution. Paper didn’t have a lot of value so when Massachusetts paid with paper money, the legislature rejected it. Gold and silver had a lot of value.4. Many farmers couldn’t pay their taxes so they went to jail. The farmers were mad, this led to rebellion
