Q

rhyme scheme

A

lacks it but there is half rhyme (same consonance different vowel) in the opening and closing couplets “squaT… slaTE” and “aiR… feaR”

Creates a cyclical structure type thing, this will continue to happen over and over again

Reflects how the the storm is too wild to be controlled, a full rhyme would have been too perfect compared to the rest of th epoem

A

“blast” “pummels” “exploding” “bombarded” “straves” “salvo” vs “you know what i mean”
“exploding comfortably”

Conflcit language to suggest danger and threatening nature of nature

Everyday language suggests that this is everyday occurence and he is used to it. Also emphasised by the oxymoron “exploding comfortably” which reflects how the speaker has made sense of the storm filled world he lives in.
