1.) Boat horn = to show how little time Eva has left to make her decision. It will be repeated + get louder to create tension and how time is running out as the boat gets closer
2.) Ratcatcher music = To show how Eva has realised that Helga is the Rat-catcher, as she’s taking her away when she doesn’t want to go
3.) Clock ticking = heighten the tension along with the boat horn - time is running out
