The spine being a giant bendy spring
A
The plasticity of the column lies in it’s make-up, meaning it can cope with multiple forces at once.
Spine is conical with curves becoming a spring which has both compressive and tensile strength
The ‘S’ shape of the spine combining lordosis and kyphosis throughout the spine it deals with compressive forces and ground reaction forces coming up the opposite way.
