  3. drug and id/hypersensitivity reactions
  4. nummular dermatitis
  5. dyshidrotic dermatitis
  6. seborrheic dermatitis

Spongiotic dermatitis with eosinophils

  1. Histologic findings
  2. DDX
A

Histologic findings:

  1. spongiosis
  2. eosinophils in dermis +/- epidermis
  3. Occasional vesicles
  4. PK
  5. acanthosis in subacute to chronic lesions

DDX:

  1. allergic contact dermatitis
  2. atopic eczema
  3. nummular eczema
  4. drug reactions (usually see interface also)
  5. Hypersensitivity/id reactions
  6. scabies
  7. arthropod bite (deep eos)
  8. seb derm (few eos)
  9. vesicular stage of incontinentia pigment
  10. urticarial stage of bullous pemphigoid
  11. viral exanthem
