You need one leader to be in charge of a superstructure to prevent infighting within the politburo and pass decisions for the workers

The policy that stated that ‘the party was the nucleus of all public and state organisations of the working people
What did Article 136 do in comparison to previous leaders
Very similar to the fundamental laws of 1906, it reinforced Stalins totalitarianism and removed power from the workers and directly opposed Lenin’s statement “All power to the Soviets” . A shift in ideology against Marxism Leninism

Only 2 times a year, and it was elected from the supreme soviet of the USSR

A union any writer had to join in order to publish their work in the USSR under the banner of social realism which celebrated them as the ‘engineers of men’s souls’
How did Stalin use censorship during world war 2
He doctored any information coming in from any other countries to make Russia look better than it was. Labelled himself as generalissimo and added to his cult of personality. Removed other military heroes such as zukhov to make sure only he was celebrated

The style of art that was pushed onto every aspect of Russian society. Used in cinemas to push Stalins economic policies such as 5 year Plans

Propaganda within a work place, a movement based off Stakhanov who met his targets in the 5 year plan
Opposition to Stalin
His role as general secretary of the state meant Stalin was able to easily remove people from the party and had access to administration. He used his powers to overcome the United opposition of Trotsky zinoviev and kamanev, and excluded them from the politburo
