Takeoff- horizon on the dash (80) Cruise- power setting Landing- watch VSI, use eyes, ears, butt to feel pitch and use familiar power settings
39
Tower says “make short approach”. What do you do?
Comfortable? Do it. Drop power on downwind and flap 10/20/30 Uncomfortable? “Unable” and they will extend my downwind
40
Tower is rushing you to exit runway and you landed long. What do you do?
Unable
41
Go-Around
POWER! Carb heat off Control pitch- horizon on dash Flaps up slowly *sloppy approach (too high or too fast) / someone on the runway
