- Apollo fell in love with the nymph Daphne and tried to chase her down
- She transformed into a laurel tree to avoid his efforts

- fell in love with his reflection in a pool, agonized by the unrequited love
- he spent so long staring at himself, he became rooted in the forest and became part of the earth
- the narcissus flower grew where he was and now hangs over the water, as if looking at its reflection

- couple from rival families that fell and love and decided to elope
- met at an isolated tree, where a lion chewed up Thisbe’s vail, making Pirano think it ate her
- Pirano kills himself on his sword and when Thisbe sees him, she does the same
- they died beside a tree that grew into Mulberry tree with sweet red and black berries, symbolizing the two of them

- He told them to throw stones to regrow the population
- When Deucalión threw stones, more men appeared and when Pirra threw stones, more women appeared

- Hephaestus was falsely told by Poseidon that Athena loved him so he tried to rape her
- He tried to get on her but his crippled leg made him fall, and the sperm he had grew into the earth and became a boy
- The child was named Erochthonius and was half man half snake and Athena raised him in her temple

- Zeus gave the curious Pandora a box and told her never to open it
- Her curiosity overwhelmed her and she opened it, allowing all evils to escape into the world
- Hope also was released, assuring humans that there was still good

- Zeus punished him by chaining him to a rock while an eagle devoured his internal organs everyday as they regrew every night
