About my Role
I am part of the assistant merchandising team, although my role is different from the traditional MA role. I am part of the item analyst team and specialize int he item creation. I help to maintain data integrity of merchandise information consistencies within merchandising and item creation systems. I also ensure that items are setup correctly so they are displayed correctly and make necessary item maintenance updates for consistencies and accuracy.
I also have a directors role in NAcho in RMS and serve as a backup when Samantha and help with approving item maintenance batches, fix supplier site errors, add diffs to RMS and help look over a daily item report to ensure items are setup properly.
What would make you good at this role?

Organization
- Write out a list and prioritize the task at hand, it helps keep my day on schedule and ensures I do not forget any task
- I utilize a folder system so I able to locate/references files quickly (one example would be.. I have a folder for each buying team which has their own file for each task I’m working on and I have completed task in a separated folder that is organized by brand
Abi Skills
- I have built my own personal reports and have helped other MAs build their own reports.
- I have attended an ACE Abi reporting class which has also taught me how to build better reports and really give a better understand how to use Abi
Weakness
I get frustrated with people who miss deadlines especially my work depends on them completing thiers
