State the aim, method, findings and evaluation of Friedman and Rosenman’s study
Aim- To find out whether behaviour patterns could be a risk factor in the health effects of stress
Method- Researchers used interveiws and questionaires to put people in one of two catagories. 3000 participants were catagoriesed into types. they were males ages 39-59
Findings- more that 8 years later the researchers studied health outcomes. 70% of those who had developed CHD had been classified as type A
Evaluation- only done on men so can’t be generalised, didnt take into account the professions of the men, large scale study
