Some people are idiosyncratic, hypersensitive or allergic to specific drug. Even if this is not the case some drugs may have a accumulative effect and constant contact may cause problems over time.

How can you prevent accidental drug ingestion?
Do not eat and drink in dispensary, do not wipe face with hands, keep work surfaces tidy
Drug residue could, be left on other objects and transferred onto food
How can you prevent accidental drug injection?
It’s unlikely that large amounts can be accidentally injected but strict rules relating to use of needle guards and careful disposal of sharps.
