prescribe 500- 1000 lipase units per gram of fat

do not exceed 4000 lipase units per gram of fat

do not exceed 2500 lipase units per kg of body wt per meal, or 10000 lipase units per Kg BW per day

OR per meals- 20000- 75000 lipase units per meal and 5000-50000 lipase units per snack
