Depression area that is usually broad and shallow, such as glenoid fossa of the scapula.
Groove
Narrow furrow in bone, usually tracks the path of a nerve or blood vessel

Large, rounded end of bone, such as the humerus

Narrow ridge of Bone, less prominent than crest

Opening of a canal or passage, such as external auditory meatus

Projection or prominent of a bone, such as the mastoid process

Relatively sharp projection of the bone, such as the spinous process.
Sulcus
Relatively narrow groove, such as the intertubercular sulcis
Sol-kuss
Trochanter
Large, blunt process for muscle attachment, such as the trochanter of the femur.
Tubercle
Small, rounded prominence, such as the tubercle of the rib
Tuberosity
Large, rounded prominence such as the ischial tuberosity
