A

Aerobatics are prohibited +- 30\* pitch and or 60\* roll

with operative CGI bank angles are limited by CGI, but no greater than 60\*. When operating with BALT/RALT engaged, limit bank angles to 45\* max.

60 KGS = max ground speed for roll-on landings 20\* = max nose-up attitude during landings 492 ft/min = max rate of descent at touchdown for grossweight 33,000 lbs and below 450 ft/min = max rate of descent at touchdown for grossweight from 33,000 lbs to 40,000 lbs 360 ft/min = max rate of descent at touchdown for grossweight above 40,000 lbs

Ground operation limits
when thrust control lever is at ground detent: right or left directional pedal - 0.75 inch aft cyclic - 2.00 inches lateral cyclic - 1.00 inch thrust control lever - no lower than ground detent when ground taxiing less than 75 feet from an obstruction at an unfamiliar airport (not designated for ch-47F heli's) a blade walker/ taxi director will be present

Flight under IMC limits
a. Both DAFCS are operational b. standby flight displays (SFD) are operating c. Three MFD's (1,4 and either 2 or 3), two CDU's, two GPPU's, two DCU's, two EGI's and two ADC's are operational d. Coupled ILS approaches at localizer intercept angles of greater than 60\* are prohibited (greater than 60\* and the FD cue may continue to command a descent with a missed appr)

a. EAPS is designed to permit safe flight in light-icing conditions b. Continuous flight in light icing below +5\*C is not recommended due to single blade damage from asymmetric ice shedding c. intentional flight into known icing conditions with rotor blade erosion protection materials installed is prohibited icing conditions include "trace", "light", "moderate", and "heavy"

Thunderstorm operations
a. To ensure lightning strike protection, lightning protection cables and straps must be installed and intact on all rotor blades b. if any lightning cables or straps are missing or broken, avoid flight in or near thunderstorms, especially in areas of observed or anticipated lightning discharges

max airspeed: 130 KCAS or VNE whichever is slower Max allowable rate of descent at touchdown in snow is 480 ft/minup to 33,000 lbs. decreasing linearly to 240 ft/min at 46,000 lbs max taxi speed when operating on hard prepared surfaces: 5 knots

day/night/nvg operations over water is permissable provided: - both DAFCS are operational - Pilot and copilot radar altimeter is operational - visible horizon is present at op site - helicopter drain plugs are installed

- restricted to 30 mins total floatation time - ramp and all doors closed during water landing - pitot heat turned off - searchlights retracted and off - DAFCS native modes must be disarmed - longitudinal cyclic trim actuators must be manually set to ground position
