What is performed in the hot zone?
A
- React to threat
- Tourniquet for life threatening hemorrhage (preferably by patient)
- Extraction (or extrication of pinned)
- No blood sweeps (wait till the warm zone)

- After every patient movement

- Hot zone: triage as deceased
- Warm zone: consider bilateral needle decompression for torso trauma patients before discontinuing care
