Most readers of tech documents are not reading then by choice
To be efficient the writer must be as brief as the audience will allow.
What is the defn of redundancy
Unnecessary repetition of a word or phrase
What is the defn of diction
Choice of words used in writing and speech
Be careful of homophones, possessives, and contradictions
What is verbosity
Wordiness
Use if unnecessary words or phrases
Don’t use modifiers

An attempt to convince the audience of the authors point of view
