What are the reasons why someone may be more susceptible?

A

Wealth - Poverty can cause people to not be able to afford to leave and cant bounce back after the disaster

Education - People nay have little understanding of hazards and the signs

Demographics - Age can mean that people are move vulnerable to quick onset disasters

Location - Isolated places will struggle to receive adequate aid

A

Relief - Rescue efforts and aid to rescue people

Rehab - Resolving long term problems such as temp housing and water systems
