How would you check that your brakes are working?

A

Brakes shouldn’t feel spongey, and when you set off and test your brakes the car shouldn’t pull to one side.

A

You would use them when you can’t see more than 100 metres down the road. You would turn on the dipped headlights and then turn on the fog lights which would be by twisting the centre of the left stick.

How would you switch your headlights from dipped to main beam, and how would you know it is on?

A

Turn on dipped headlights then push the left indicator stick forward to turn them on. A blue symbol would show on the dashboard to signify they are on.

A

A

Identify brake reservoir (brake symbol on top in yellow(sticker)/grey cap). Levels should be between the minimum and maximum markings.

A

[To open the bonnet there should be a lever under the steering wheel, pull that and then open the bonnet safely, securing it before demonstrating the question].
Identify dipstick (symbol of oil can/yellow stick top). Take out the dipstick and wipe it off, put it back in and bring it out, checking that the oil comes out between the minimum and maximum markings.
